At ABODE Venue, we know how to party!

Our origins date back to 2004 when ABODE first opened at 1330 E. Douglas as a contemporary furniture store. We soon became known not only for our great design sensibilities, but also for our blow out parties and events. When we decided to close the furniture store in 2010 (and re-imagine it as ACI Design Studio: open across the street at 1425 E. Douglas, Suite 1C), people soon came asking to rent out the space for events.

That’s when we knew ABODE was meant to be a venue!

The building, designed by WDM Architects and winner of the 2006 “Merit Award” for interior architecture from the AIA Midwest Regional Section, is highly recognized for its architecturally stunning features both inside and out. Located in the heart of downtown in the Douglas Design District, ABODE Venue offers a refreshingly modern setting unique to Wichita and perfect for any corporate function, event, meeting, wedding, anniversary, concert, charity event, holiday party, dance, art show, reunion, trade show, corporate meeting, organization function... any event you can imagine – big or small.
